I like to think of Tree as the philosopher in the group. Not that he is particularly intelligent, but he is always questioning his being. Though I don't always agree with Kant, he is definitely someone to read about and consider. Morrie is the intellectual. Though the name is Morrie Anarchy, I doubt that he/she is actually an Anarchist, but who am I to say. I just put make up words, I cannot read their thoughts. I think we often mistake the term 'anarchy' for 'chaos'. They are not one in the same, though I will not deny that one could certainly lead to the other. Anarchy is merely the idea of living without any established government. A anarchist need not be violent or hopeless. Maurice, however, is certainly a nihilist, hence the reference.
